For more than 35 years SSV Software Systems GmbH has been developing, producing and marketing microcomputer modules (embedded systems), assemblies and systems that are used with special software in the field of industrial and process automation for demanding communication tasks. From Hanover, we serve a worldwide customer base in various market segments. Our goal is to make machines and processes considerably more intelligent.

Our team consists of highly qualified engineers, technicians and business people, enabling us to solve very complex tasks in the field of industrial communication technology individually, effectively and efficiently. From simple sensor data field bus couplers, to LTE-based cloud gateways for the Internet of Things, to complete cyber-physical systems.

We have field-tested and perfected solution modules as well as a development process to develop an optimal solution with high user benefits and a competitive price/performance ratio to match your requirements.

IoT and Industry 4.0

Due to our long experience and specialization in TCP/IP-based communication in distributed embedded systems and automation applications, we are well prepared for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0.

Like no other company SSV masters the whole spectrum from sensor technology, to the necessary connection possibilities (connectivity), to data analysis, and we can provide and/or integrate the necessary components from one source. Of course, this also applies to the required IT security, which has had a special place in our products and solutions for almost two decades, which is further developed through security-by-design.

Open Standards

For many years SSV has been committed to open standards, the distribution of new technologies and the networking of market participants across industries. As a co-founder of the M2M Alliance e.V., the VHPready e.V., and as a full member of the OPC Foundation we have been actively working for years on the prerequisites for equipping the things around us with the necessary intelligence and connecting them with each other.

Through active involvement in a group of experts at the National IT Summit we are also helping to ensure that Germany is intelligently networked.
