SPS 2023: OT/IT Gateway IGW/936A enables Virtual Patching

Various new EU regulations (such as the NIS-2 Directive, the EU Machinery Regulation, the EU Cyber Resilience Act or the EU Commission's draft for a new product liability law) give cybersecurity of operation technology (OT) a completely new significance.

Cybersecurity Becomes a Duty

In the future, this will also include the obligation to remedy identified vulnerabilities through software updates. If this is not possible, our new multifunctional OT/IT gateway IGW/936A can be used to implement a so-called virtual patch to prevent external access to OT modules and the exploitation of vulnerabilities.
